Secondly, you should not be searching for a good Christian man to be a step-father, you should be searching for a good Christian man to be a husband. Some men are great fathers and terrible husbands. But, most men who are great husbands usually make even better fathers. My sister-in-law is having the same issues with her daughter. It is so hard for her to watch all of her friends with their daddy’s while she doesn’t have one. Just keep praying and loving your girl. Never, ever make her feel like her feelings are not important. Tell her that God hasn’t found just the right man for her yet. He wants to make sure the daddy she gets is good enough for her and her mommy.
