Wow! I believe they can be fined for that. Quite a faux pas if you ask me. What’s more, I wouldn’t want that to be in my hands if I was you - they could wind up trying to hold YOU accountable for stealing the info or even for identity theft in future. If I were you I would handle this in a very FORMAL manner.
1) Contact your local Social Security office. Let them know that this information was given to you by your employer. Ask them what to do with it.
2) Write a letter to your employer telling them what they did. In states like New York and Georgia and others, they actually have laws that fine companies for divulging this information.
3) Send a letter to all of the employees that were on the list letting them know that the employer did this. They should be concerned about their identities and credit, and should pursue getting credit reports to ensure no one else got this info and stole their identities.
Good luck.

If you are going to Gatlinburg on a Friday, then Henley St. Bridge is that tallest, but also the fastest and least confusing route to take and is also a four lane bridge with walkways on both sides. Alcoa Hwy bridge is the lowest, but the route to Gatlinburg can be a bit confusing if you are wanting to take 411 into Sevierville, but you could take Alcoa Hwy to 321 toward Townsend and then you have the choice of taking either Wears Valley Rd to Pigeon Forge or go through the Smokey Mountains to Gatlingburg via Little River Rd. A longer trip overall, but more scenery. If you are going to Gatlinburg on a day other than Friday, I would recommend taking Interstate 40 to exit 407 (hwy 66) this is the fastest route (other than on Friday which the traffic is daunting going through sevierville, pigeon forge, gatlinburg and I don’t know of any bridges that go over water other than part of I-40 going over the Holston River, but it is hard to even notice going over the Holston River.
Happy and safe travels.

The medication only HELPS prevent your partner from contracting herpes, it’s not a 100% guarantee!
In fact, nothing is 100% effective in preventing the spread of genital herpes (except abstinence). Condoms HELP, antiviral medication HELPS, avoiding sex while you are on an outbreak HELPS, but nothing is completely 100% effective.
Since your boyfriend is having sex with you and he knows you have the virus, then hopefully he is well aware of the risks and concerns about contracting the virus himself. And, if he puts off getting tested himself then that is his own fault. Although it would be a very good idea for him to get tested, you can’t physically force him to get tested if he doesn’t want to.
I have had genital herpes for 6+ years and have been outbreak free for 2+ years. I haven’t taken the medication for it in years (and my fiance knows this). I only take it when I have an outbreak or “feel” an outbreak coming. A lot of people don’t do daily suppressive therapy. They only take the medication when they need to for outbreaks. The medication, like you said, is expensive and not to mention has NOT be proven to completely prevent the spread of herpes.
Try to convince your boyfriend to get tested and tell him what your doctor told you. If he refuses to get tested then there is nothing more you can do. Take care!

I was unable to find any record of a US Navy or Coast Guard vessel called the “Fort Rae”.
I did however, locate a submarine from the WW2 era called the “USS Ray”. If this is the vessel that Robert sailed on, here is the page.
http://donshelton.net/271boat.htm
I’m wondering…could your friend have been in the Merchant Marine during the war and sailed on a merchant vessel? Or was he military?
***
PS…I found the ship. The Fort Rae was a British merchant vessel that was a part of Convoy HX 217 during WW2. The convoy departed New York City on Nov. 27-1942 and arrived Liverpool on Dec. 14. It’s final destination was Belfast, Ireland.
The Fort Rae was also sunk during WW2….by either British or Canadian soldiers. Read this…
“At their peak in 1942 the Lower Mainland’s coastal batteries, from Steveston to Point Atkinson, were manned by 720 gunners, supported by infantry regiments and auxiliary units. Anti-aircraft batteries of 40-mm and 3.7-inch calibre guns appeared at point Grey, Little Mountain, Ambleside and elsewhere. False alarms were many, but it was the lax observation of port security rules that resulted in the sinking of a ship. Alas, it was one of our own. On September 13, 1943 (the anniversary of the Battle of the Plains of Abraham), a fish-packer blithely entered the inlet, ignoring all signals to identify itself. A warning shot from a 12-pounder gun at the Narrows North Fort ricocheted off the water ahead of the offending vessel and went on to tear through the newly built freighter Fort Rae exiting below the waterline. The sinking craft struggled to return to its birthplace, the Burrard Dry Dock, and settled ingloriously beneath Lions Gate Bridge. The vessel was later patched up and restored to service after causing red faces and recrimination all around.”
Yikes.

…yet I’d still choose Singapore lol

Wow! (is this my ex wife?)
Want to know WHY you’re like this?
Hang on to the truth here. You (woman) are designed for communication and this communication all comes from your brain. You have 100x the verbal skills of your husband and this communication (for women) is all based within an emotional context. You “feel” your words. When you get all emotional (high or low, happy of angry) your frontal cortex (proper thinking) kind of shuts down and you “can’t think straight”. Your emotional center takes over and you say the most hurtful and painful things for you are “not thinking” anymore.
Your husband (as a guy) does not think this way and in your passion you disregard and DISRESPECT his position as a man and husband. Men do not care a lick about “love” but put all on the respect thing. When you offer him no respect he will withhold the love you desire and crave.
He is willing to give you another chance because he loves you and thinks that you’re just nuts. You act totally irrationally and he is correct.
You need to start taking responsibility for EVERY word that leaves your mouth. I would offer that you will not be able to do it and you should seek counseling to bring you to understand WHY you do these things.
I know. I lived it.

Psycho?
Hell no.
And don’t let no one ever tell you that. If you were “CRAZY” you would be tied down and in an ambulance RIGHT NOW.
For the “perfect sister”, I know where you coming from on that half. My little sister never had any problems with suicide or medications, always the happy one so she became the “perfect sister”.
Family should accept you, maybe they are still hurt from you wanting to do this?
But also if they are involved in a church, seriously then it’s actually normal for super religious family to look down upon someone who is struggling.. ( I live in the Bible Belt lol, i know!)
The biggest thing is:
Are you happy?
You have your friends and a great boyfriend! You have support, if they fail to be your “family” for support then fuck them! You have your friends and people that ACCEPT you. Anyone that looks down upon you for anything especially that was done in the past obviously think they are better, which THEY AREN’T!!
You are normal, we’re young it happens! One thing I did that helped me accept who I was was this:
I would count on my 5 fingers (one hand)the closest people to me (besides family).
And I thought to myself, all I need in life are these 5 people. They care about me, they will support me NO MATTER what I’ve done or about to do. Because they care. And I should be grateful to have people like that in my life.
Just do that everyday, it sure as hell made me who I am today
And hopefully it works for you, because your better than that!
